Brett McClellan, PGA
Bio I am originally from Illinois and have recently graduated from the New Mexico State University PGA Golf Management Program. My golf career has taken me to such places as, Woodstock CC (IL), Bull Valley Golf Club (IL), The Gallery Golf Club (AZ), Incline Village Championship Course (NV), The Country Club of Darien (CT), and The Members Course at Aldarra (WA). Through my experience I have had the privilege of teaching juniors and adults of all ability.
Philosophy Golf is fun! It’s my desire for people to enjoy the game of golf. I strive in my teaching to enhance my students’ love of the game. I do my best to listen and assist students’ in achieving their desired outcomes whether their goal is to out drive their friends or improve tournament play. My flexible and easygoing style allows me to fit the needs of my students.
Approach My approach to teaching is to use as much of what the student already knows to improve his or her golf game. Many people fight against their own natural abilities in the misunderstanding that good golf is “elusive” and “unattainable”. I use listening, observation, and analogies from practical life to increase the efficiency of the learning process which in turn leads to faster positive results.
