Philosophy My teaching philosophy begins with understanding each person’s goals and, together, building a plan to achieve them. I find that core to meeting goals is the individual’s understand their own golf swing – both the positives and negatives. This isn’t something that happens overnight, so I also teach perseverance. I believe students need to celebrate what they’re doing well and build on it to tackle their next challenge. With this understanding, changing specific elements such as setup or swing motion is easier, and collectively realizes big results.
Approach I strive to teach in simple, easy-to-follow and relatable ways. After identifying changes to be made, we work on the range or the course to progressively practice and adjust. With a bit of structure, hard work and encouragement, I find that student’s goals are very attainable.
