Today, the Sonoran Desert assumes a new color – pink – as Pink Adventure Tours establishes its Scottsdale base at Fort McDowell Adventures, giving local residents and area visitors another unique, fun way to experience “the adventurous side of Scottsdale.”
The popular off-road touring company fabricated six new custom Jeep Wranglers and will run tours out of its new location next to Rosa’s Ranch, a charming outdoor event venue across from The Stables at Fort McDowell. Up to 20 vehicles will be available at all times to handle larger groups and special events.
“Our team spent the entire summer grooming the trails and prepping our vehicles to gear up for our launch here in Scottsdale,” said Dan Blake, general manager of Pink Adventure Tours. “We’ve invested heavily in the training of our staff and the safety of our passengers to ensure our customers have the most comfortable and enjoyable tour possible.”
Pink Adventure Tours offers two convenient options for adventure enthusiasts: two-hour tours for those who are able to drive to Fort McDowell Adventures and four-hour tours (including travel time & human history tour) for those needing a pickup at a nearby Phoenix or Scottsdale hotel.
Tours depart on the hour from 8 am to 5 pm, and are accompanied by a CPR-certified guide trained through the Smith System® driving program and well-versed in the local flora, fauna, geology and history. Jeep Wranglers comfortably hold six to nine passengers, depending on the vehicle, and take riders on a once-in-a-lifetime Sonoran Desert adventure that includes a cholla cactus forest, 4×4 hill climbs and river bed exploration.
